Nordic Style Rye Bread

Nordic Rye Bread

This small rye bread roll was thick and rich of grain.

The stand offered free samples of the bread with spreadable cheese and cucumbers served open face. These little samples were delicious with the thick rye bread softened by the bread and cheese.

I bought a small roll to eat later. By later I mean ten minutes later. But self control issues aside, the bread alone was actually a little too thick. As a sandwich bread, the rye roll would have been undoubtably delicious, but all alone it just seemed tough and dry.
