When I worked in midtown, I would eat at the Red Flame a few times a month. Then the pandemic shuttered offices across the city. I returned with my wife and kid on a cold winter Saturday.
We had lunch at Zaab Burger, a newish burger stand infusing smash burgers with the flavors of northern Thailand.
We ate at Trapizzino, a small chain originating in Rome specializing in Trapizzini, a combination of pizza-sandwich that is a popular Roman “street” food.
We drop in at a popular, French-inspired bistro in the East Village.
