Horse Bologna and Foie Gras Grilled Cheese

The horse meat and bologna sandwich tasted great.
But it also tasted a lot like any old grilled cheese with bologna.
As the Googa Mooga festival began winding down, we were looking for some sort of last minute food before everything shut down. While many of the venders had run out of food, those that were still open tended to have long lines. The $15 price point though for the bologna and foie gras grilled cheese was probably a turn off for a lot of people, but we were splitting it three ways and felt it was probably worth it.
As we explained to a passerby asking us if it was any good, the sandwich was decent but probably not worth $15. It tasted like a well made grilled cheese, but necessarily one with high end delectables.
Also, the other thing I learned is that basically regardless of the animal you start with, bologna tastes like bologna.
When we opened up the sandwich, there certainly was a nice piece of foie gras on the inside, but had all the art and craft of adding gold leaf to motel landscape wall art.
