Pesto Pasta Salad

A pesto pasta salad is a refreshing lunchtime side dish.
Its difficult to admit that I like a little pasta salad on the side with an lunch sandwich. Fran’s does have a great traditional, mayonaise based pasta salad as well. But with tomatos and a pesto sauce, I feel a little less guilty.
On the other hand, making my own pesto is easy enough I feel that I should have made my own.
