Cuban Sandwich

A Cubano sandwich from La Isla consisting of pickles, ham and turkey on a hot crispy roll.
I had this sandwich at the last “friends who work in offices next door to each other” lunch, before my work neighbor moved to the west coast.
Cuban sandwiches are fairly common around New York City given the number of Cuban Americans living here. But good Cuban sandwiches are harder to come by. The success I think of this sandwich is a good meat to bread ratio, something lesser Cubano sandwiches sometimes mess with.
